The Real Test...

And so it begins. Our first booked out evening with guests that have high expectations, or who don't know what to expect. Either way the goal is to wow!


Once the first menu went out the evening booked out fairly fast with very little notice. A busy few weeks perfecrting recipes and adjusting the menu where necesaary and now its go time. It was a wonderful crowd and both welcoming and excited to try new things. Garlic and rosemary focaccia was awaiting arrivals followed by five delicious courses. From first timers on a plant-based evening to fully fleged vegans. And the youngest customer was 2 years old. We were both grateful and wowed by the response and feedback with requests for more dates asap and lots of questions how the chef made it so delicious.


To be able to open peoples eyes to sustainable eating and to share how much we enjoy our food is a real pleasure. To then have guests enjoying just as much is all you can ask for. Safe to say the first organised evening was a success and bookings will soon be open for our second culinary adventure. Thank you to all who came and enjoyed both the hgospitality at Westmoreland as well as our food. A few pics below again from a fun and fabulous evening.
